What it promises:

Murad Firming Bronzer SPF 15 (3.4 fl oz for $48) for face and body is an exceptional formula that firms the skin by up to 32% in just 15 minutes for a beach-ready lift. Its bronzing pigments wrap the skin in a natural-looking, sun-kissed color; perfect for use with a natural tan to enhance color or as a quick self-tan during winter months. Pomegranate extract and potent sunscreens protect the skin against UVA and UVB damage, as well as free radical activity. Finally, minerals and conditioners provide a healthy, lit-from-within glow.

GOTG’s verdict?

It’s time I came clean…To everyone who has ever asked me if I’ve been in the sun or to the beach (and it’s November)…this product is my secret. Yes, I combine it with my regular body lotion for days that I wear skirts and dresses, but it’s really a godsend for your face.

I’m super picky when it comes to face products. Shockingly, I don’t like things that are sticky, make me look orange, or that I can feel sitting on my face. Consequently, I don’t wear that much make-up – and never wear foundation. This product is perfect because it makes your skin feel silky/smooth and adding a dab (JUST a dab) to any moisturizer, serum or foundation creates an instant (and subtle) bronze. Only downside is the size…at 3.4 ounces, it’s just big enough to be confiscated at the airport (it made it through a few trips, only to be nabbed in NYC), and there aren’t additional sizes available.

Where you can find it:

Most Sephoras carry it (though not always, I almost had a panic attack when one store didn’t have it and had no idea what I was talking about). You can buy it online at SkinOne.com ($48 w/ priority free shipping).
