The Green Restaurants Alliance Sacramento (GRAS) is holding a compost festival today at Fremont Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
If you have been eager to learn about composting, this is your chance.
This educational festival will include learning about the local food cycle, preserving fertile soil and keeping food waste out of our landfills.
Many of Sacramento’s “Farm to Table” restaurants will be participating. There will be live music, local wineries and tastings ($25 tasting menu fee) by Ella’s, One Speed, The Waterboy, Mulvaney’s, Hot Italian and more!!! There is a suggested $5 donation fee.
