Favorite Sacramento Cause? My favorite Sacramento cause is CreativeMornings Sacramento (I recently joined the organizing committee)! A global movement with a local feel, CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for the creative community. It’s all about lifting each other up and providing a positive, supportive and inspiring space for creatives to gather and share. The events are always free to attend and follow the creed that “everyone is creative, everyone is welcome,” which I think makes it a worthy cause and one I’m honored to be a part of every month. Plus, I am always amazed by the people I meet and how easily and effortlessly the conversations flow. Without fail, I walk away with a beaming smile on my face—Every. Single. Time.

Favorite spot on Sacramento’s grid? We have so many amazing places to eat, drink and stroll in Midtown/Downtown, which is why I love Sacramento and living on the grid, but I think my favorite spot (and where you’ll most often find me) is Temple Coffee on S Street. I love that every time I go, I run into someone I know. It’s where I plan out my spin playlists for TEAMride; read a book on a lazy Sunday; catch up with a friend; write for my blog; or just sit and people watch. It’s also my go-to for a first date, but shhh, don’t tell anyone! 🙂

Three Fun Facts Most People Don’t Know?
–I lived in London.
–I played Division I soccer in college (University of the Pacific) and was in a soccer movie called “Her Best Move”, which I’m pretty sure was a straight-to-DVD flick.
–I once auditioned, but didn’t get selected, for ABC’s “The Bachelor” (needless to say, I’m stoked for the opportunity to redeem myself with #SMEBB!).

P.S. If you’re curious to know more, tune into my Instagram stories on Fridays for a series I call “Fun Fact Friday”—clever title, right?—where each week, I share something fun, random or interesting about myself that most people wouldn’t know. (IG: @sadyeevyn)”
