Halloween is just around the corner do you know where you’ll be? Do you know what you’re going to wear? So many of my friends stress over costumes because there is usually that one person they’re trying to impress and Halloween gives them an excuse to tease their goods without being called a “slut”.  Really, Halloween costumes are so easy for us girls because we can wear a 711 clerk’s vest, throw on heels, a bow and POOOOF you’re a sexy 711 cashier. Guys have to put a little more thought into it because the more creative and funny the better. We’re not as easily impressed.

This year if you’re feeling extremely confident about your costume what better way to show it off then at the Exotic Halloween Ball at Cal Expo? This year there is a $5,000 cash prize for the best costume!!!! That is a lot of money. It’s no secret that I co-host the morning show on NOW 100.5 (Baltazar and Nina in The Morning) and as a part of the CBS radio family we all get to participate in the shenanigans that is the Exotic Halloween Ball.  Have you been? If you haven’t I’m sure you know someone that has. It gets CRAAAAAAZY!!!! If you’re thinking of trading your PJ’s and candy for a night of dancing and a human petting zoo then this is YOUR party.

We recently had a meeting to talk about what to expect. Every year is a little different. Fan favorites will be returning like, amateur pole dancing, the fantasy and fetish stage, an exotic haunted house, three HUGE dance floors, a mechanical bull…the list goes on. This year we’re also bringing back the human petting zoo.  What is a human petting zoo you ask? I don’t really know! This will be my first time experiencing it but I’m very intrigued. Not only that BUT there will be a Honey Boo Boo stage!  Don’t act like you’re not ready to redneck’ognize!

Now, if a personal party surrounded by chaos is more your thing then there will be Vegas style VIP cabanas that can be purchased as well. These things are dope  I saw pictures and it really does have a Tao Beach vibe. Well, the best way you can inside of Cal Expo.

What I’m really excited about this year is that we’re bringing Gavin DeGraw and Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy out to do live sets!  Gavin DeGraw will sing and Pete Wentz will DJ.  This party is going to have a little bit of everything. Let your freak flag fly!  That’ s pretty much going to be the theme of the night October 27th at Cal Expo. For tickets and more info visit now100fm.com.

not to sound prudish, but i’m confused about the “honey boo boo stage.” for an event that is so overtly sexual, it seems inappropriate to include the story of a 7-year old girl into the mix. is it just to add a redneck theme? if so, i think you’re covered.
