With the holidays closing in on us, chances are you have some last minute holiday parties that you need to bring a dish to.  And/or you are probably so stressed out that cooking is the LAST thing on your mind, and you’d like to throw something easy together on those busy weeknights.  Perhaps you are also leery of trying out one of those hundreds of recipes on your Pinterest food board. Maybe you’re afraid your creation might resemble one of these Pinterest fails.

Here are five tried and true Pinterest recipes that I can say I have made or eaten not only once, but at least twice.

Biscuit Garlic Bread

This is seriously the easiest thing ever.  Biscuits, Parmesan, Garlic and Butter.  Easy and everyone loves it! Recipe here.

1

Ginger and Cilantro Baked Tilapia

I love fish.  My husband not-so-much…so he takes this marinade and also uses it on chicken.  It’s super yummy and fast and great over rice.  I love popping into Whole Foods on the way home and picking up a few fillets and knowing I’ll have a yummy, healthy dinner that cooks super fast.  This is perfect to throw in the oven while you wrap those last few holiday gifts! Recipe here.

2

Mediterranean Orzo Mac & Cheese

I LOVE this recipe.  It’s like fancy big kid mac and cheese and super comforting on these cold nights.  And who doesn’t love Feta??  It takes a little longer to cook, but is worth it! Recipe here.

3

Feta and Parmesan Zuchinni Bake

Can you tell I like Feta?  This is another easy, quick casserole that will ensure you get your veggies in between all of those holiday cookies.  Perfect as a vegetarian main dish or a great side. Recipe here.

4

Cheesy Onion Casserole

This last one I haven’t personally made, but my friend has brought it to two separate events where it has been a great hit.  The best part – she made it with cream of mushroom soup so that I, being a vegetarian, could actually eat it. : ) Recipe here.
