Jody Bogle, Owner/Director of Public Relations for Bogle Winery
Jody along with her brothers, Ryan and Warren, are intimately involved in every aspect of Bogle Vineyards. The family began growing wine grapes in 1968, and today, the siblings are the third generation to oversee the Clarksburg winery. After growing up playing and working in the family’s fields, Jody became a middle school English teacher before returning to the winery in 1999. Today, Jody leads the winery’s public relations strategies and international wine sales. As she learned from her mother Patty, who guided the winery for more than a decade, Jody hopes her two daughters see the hard work and dedication it takes to run a successful family business.

Sacramento Woman You Most Admire? I’m pretty much in awe of Meghan Phillips of Honey Agency. She seems like a working momma who has it all together, or at least who knows how to fake it with style, flair and a good cocktail!
Fave Local Cause? The Yolo Food Bank. We are located in proximity to one of the greatest food sources in the world, yet more than 35,000 people in Yolo County experience food insecurity. Directing fresh produce and goods to the children, families and individuals who need it is a huge endeavor, and at the end of the day, a great cause to champion.

Sacramento continues to build its Farm to Fork identity, and it would be outstanding if in five years the Farm to Fork movement had permeated our education system, working through great organizations like the Yolo Food Bank and Ag in the Classroom to bring information and access to our local underprivileged youth.
