The Big 24 Hour Giveback: Help Raise $75k for WEAVE

By the Editors

For those newer to town, WEAVE is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County.

Through a multi-disciplinary effort with Sacramento County, law enforcement, the Commercially Sexually Exploited Children Court, Child Protective Services, and the District Attorney’s Office, WEAVE also provides 24/7 response, outreach and services for victims of sex trafficking.

Girls on the Grid has been an avid supporter of WEAVE since 2009 – supporting everything from holiday toy drives to their annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes to donating every last $$ raised at #SMEBB.

So we were thrilled when we heard Stones Gambling Hall was hosting “The Big 24 Hour Giveback” in support of WEAVE!

The idea is simple: Stones will donate $100 for every person who walks through their doors starting on Weds, February 28 at 6 am until 6 am on Thurs, March 1 (up to $75k).

Fundraising has never been easier, right?

And be sure to join GOTG from 6 pm – 8 pm as we raise $$$ for this deserving local cause!
