#SMEBB 2017 Nominees

After combing through 155+ nominations (!!), we’re thrilled to introduce your #SMEBB 2017 nominees! Voting is now open until 6pmPT on Weds., April 12th.

  • Thursday, April 6 – #SMEBB Mixer at Blue Cue from 6-8pm (1004 28th Street). Can’t decide who to vote for? Come out and meet the nominees! (Dress code: “Come as you are”)
  • Thursday, April 13 – #SMEBB Finale Party at Social from 6-8pm (1000 K Street). Winners are announced, and relationships are forged! (Dress code: Cocktail/Red dresses encouraged)

TICKETS: Ticket sales are the primary way we raise money for WEAVE’s Walk a Mile. As such, the mixer is a $20 minimum donation (TICKETS) and the finale party is a $30 minimum donation (TICKETS) OR you can purchase tickets to both for $40 ($10 savings). Both events are open to the public so we encourage friends, family and colleagues to purchase early – we’ve sold out the last few years!

We “party with a purpose” and are partnering again (for the 8th year in a row!) with WEAVE (FacebookTwitter), which is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County.

100% of the money raised from #SMEBB 2017 will go directly to WEAVE. That’s right. Every single dollar will benefit WEAVE’s annual “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” event, which features hundreds of local men wearing RED high heels to raise awareness and funds against domestic violence and sexual assault (hence the suggestion to wear red to the finale party). We raised over $11,000 in 2015, $20,000+ and our goal for 2017 is $25,000.
