#SMEBB Campaign Round-Up
By The Editors
Today is the FINAL DAY to vote for #SMEBB 2016 (voting ends at 6pmPT). Our #SMEBB nominees have been hard at work campaigning over the last few weeks. How do they campaign exactly and who is winning the unofficial award for the most creative?? You be the judge!
Secure your tickets to tomorrow’s 3/10 finale party here! We will sell out!
They have friends in the singles business – Oh hey Clare Crawley of the Bachelor!
They strip down and show you what they’re all about. (Abs.)
They get support from a favorite Sacramento establishment!
They leverage their purchased tickets to raise even more $$$ for WEAVE!
They get political…hella political.
They form alliances.
And some alliances get physical to raise $$ for WEAVE!
They use cute animals.
They get on Buzzfeed.
They get featured in their local paper!
They have great friends that know their way around artsy apps.
They make super sweet swag like buttons and t-shirts!
They make hyper-local videos and give a shout out to their 4H crew.

They get their meme on.
They bring out the big dogs…or just their dog for support.
If they can’t show up to a TV appearance… they MAKE a ginormous cardboard cut out of themselves to avoid FOMO and rack up the votes.
And in case you missed it, here are the nominees that got up with the birds for #SMEBB and were featured on Good Day Sacramento!
The finale party – where we celebrate the nominees and announce the winners – is this TOMORROW, March 10 from 6-8pm at Social (1000 K Street). Snag your tickets here ($20 minimum donation with drink specials).
Why attend #SMEBB 2016 on Thursday?
- You actually meet and make friends with amazing people
- You can find love! We have at least EIGHT MARRIAGES, as well as countless hook-ups, under our #SMEBB belt.
- Rather than a meat market, we use the contest to raise money for WEAVE, Inc. Every $$ raised goes directly towards fighting domestic abuse and sexual assault. Without relying on corporate dollars, we raised $11k last year with a 2016 goal of $15k.
Hope to see everyone on Thursday!
