#SacCircle Inaugural Event This Weekend!
By the Editors
Sacramento Circle (#SacCircle) is a new grassroots organization dedicated to providing a space for women to share resources, advice and experiences to build a stronger community. It’s for Sacramentans who don’t believe in a beginning or end … who prefer to collaborate rather than network … who live and think spherically … who understand the value in sharing their time and talents to improve Sacramento.
Starting with “It’s Time 2015”, #SacCircle will host quarterly events that bring together women’s organizations of all shapes and sizes for social and collaborative events. They’re starting small on purpose so it can grow into a substantive resource that fosters real and lasting change.
Who should attend? Women and organizations that are actively working on policy issues that support women and/or women looking to share their time and talents with local organizations in need.
Please join us on Saturday, May 2 for our inaugural event at the Urban Hive (1931 H Street) from 12pm-3pm:
- 12:00pm to ~12:45pm – Registration and Mix/Mingle. All organizations are invited to bring printed materials for display.
- 12:45pm to 1:00pm – Web conference call with It’s Time Network Leadership
- 1:00pm to 2:00pm – Focused discussions in breakout groups: What can #SacCircle do for you?
- 2:00pm to 3:00pm – Panel of Local Women Leaders
