Worth It: Campbell / brand Clothing
Sarah and Rachel were cool. Like… cool before it was cool to be cool. These two ladies, (now well known designers), are the former lifestyle bloggers behind Twinsoup.com. (If you don’t know, shame on you and Google them…now!) The two sisters supported all things local and blogged about any and all things wonderful in Sacramento. They closed up shop on TwinSoup.com in 2011 and set their sights on something bigger and I think definitely better. Enter CAMPBELL/brand Clothing. Designed across an ocean, 5,000 miles apart to be exact – Sarah Shread in London and Rachel Grinzewitsch in Sacramento, created and launched a collaborative clothing line and I am in LOVE.
These ladies have created some of the most luxurious and versatile print focused pieces around. They debuted their collection for Spring/Summer 2015 and offer a Tank, Pant, Blazer, Jumpsuit and a ridiculously beautiful Maxi Dress. Each print is inspired by Sarah and Rachel right down to the carefully chosen names that represent points of their lives. The Bloom Print represents creation, motherhood, and is also Rachel’s daughter’s middle name. Safari Print represents the adventurer in all of us, Celestial the dreamer, Bel Air the entrepreneur (they first sketched the line at the infamous Bel Air Hotel), and Island is for the force/leader in their circle. The best part is they are made here in the USA, more specifically Los Angeles, CA.
I was lucky enough to score a gorgeous pair of the 100% silk pants in “Celestial” print (thanks, ladies!) and I cannot tell you the amount of compliments I have received. The best part is these pants can go from day into night without fail. CAMPBELL/brand translate US to UK, day to night, on to off work, PTA to Happy Hour, Kid drop off to Lunch Date etc.
They are designed to be mixed, matched and layered with your own style in mind. I wore them to work with a crisp blouse, to brunch with a V neck t shirt and sandals and I also wore them out to our GOTG Happy Hour with nude pumps, a simple tee and a moto leather jacket. The pants made the look complete. They are a staple piece refusing to go out of season. These pants made me feel beautiful and walk with a little more pep in my already pepped up step. They demand attention when you walk in the room and I cannot tell you how many women asked me where I got them. I am in love with these pants and plan on asking the hubs for another pair for uh, Easter? Memorial Day….ANY holiday worthy of a reason to make the splurge. In all actuality these pieces are timeless. They are unique and allow you to make the look your own. Didn’t your Mom always tell you to invest in quality not quantity? These pants are no exception.
