PINC’s 2014 Luxe for Life Event Benefits Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery

The Sacramento chapter of PINC (Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of the Community) is hosting their third annual fundraising event to raise money for the Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Center at 2300 Sierra Boulevard in Sacramento.
The event will feature dinner, dancing, and live and silent auctions.
Children’s Home Crisis Nursery: Sacramento Crisis Nursery, the only program of its kind in the Greater Sacramento Area. The Sacramento Crisis Nursery is a program within the Sacramento Children’s Home that provides emergency child care from 7 am – 7 pm and 24-hour overnight care. A safe place for children ages 0 thru 5 years whose families are experiencing a crisis or stressful situation. Community resource assistance and assistance to medical and mental health services as needed. Children are provided developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum in a caring and nurturing setting. Services are free and confidential. The funds raised through this event will be used to ensure that The Sacramento Crisis Nursery will be able to continue to enrich the lives of the children and continue to provide support to the families they serve.
