TBD Fest: More Than a Music Festival
By The Editors
When we think TBD Fest, we automatically think about who is headlining the October 3rd, 4th and 5th festival in West Sacramento.
Blondie?! Moby?! Empire of the Sun?! AND Justice?! Score! But there are so many other elements going beyond the music that really can set this festival apart. Three days of art, design, culture, fashion and food and a lifetime of memories.
“TBD Fest is not only a platform for discovering your next favorite band, but also for discovering some of the cultural assets that make our region so great”, begins event co-organizer Clay Nutting. “Sacramento is the Farm to Fork Capital of the World, our event will include an artisanal market that will showcase food from the regions top restaurants and a competition featuring the areas most renowned chefs cooking on wood fire.”
The Pit is close to the middle so you won’t be able to miss the best of the best, cooking up culinary creations that you (the crowd) will be able to judge. There will be craft cocktails, craft beers, and some tasty wine… And as if that wasn’t enough to make you wonder who will actually be taking care of the rest of Sacramento, food trucks will be cruising in. You definitely will not be hungry (or thirsty) by the end of the weekend.
“There will be yoga, fashion, amusement rides and we are also teaming up with a network of designers and makers to create really cool architecture, technology and design installations. TBD Fest is much more than music, it is an experience.”
So, during the morning hours when you’re still buzzing from what happened the night before, you can get centered and catch MC Yogi + DJ Sol Rising while local yoga instructors guide us through the motions of downward dog and other yoga poses I’m not quite sure of…
David Garabaldi, Sacramento’s local art hero, will have his first ever Pop Up Gallery where he will have brand new art and exclusive merchandise; local boutiques will be showing off there favorite fashion where you can purchase the perfect outfit for the next day; and a festival isn’t complete without a few carnival rides where you will be able to see Sacramento’s skyline.
Don’t miss out on what everyone will be talking until next year’s festival… Make sure to buy your tickets today and secure your spot!! 3-day passes and single day tickets are on sale now at www.tbdfest.com.
