15th Annual Junior League Wine & Dine

Just a few things us girls on the grid love: starry summer nights, wine, good food and giving back. Lucky us, we can enjoy all those things in one place this weekend – one air-conditioned place, I might add.
The Junior League of Sacramento is hosting the 15th Annual Wine & Dine at it’s new location. After several years at Raley Field, the event will be making the move indoors to the State Alumni Center. We’ll all miss the view of the gorgeous sunset over the field, but with triple digits temps expected, I’m grateful for the move.
This year, the League is proud to be partnering with the Powerhouse Science Museum as it kicks off the Founding Member Program, which gives individuals and families an opportunity to become an original piece of the museum’s history.
In addition to supporting the Founding Member Program, proceeds from the Junior League Wine & Dine event also help support the Junior League’s mission and projects that which promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and help to improve the community we all love so much!
While I know we all love giving back to our community, there are still a few things I bet you love even more – wining and dining!
Dozens of local wineries and restaurants will be serving guests, including Dickey’s BBQ Pit, Il Fornaio, Yogurtland, Bogle, Michael David and Revolution Wineries, Lagunitas Brewing Co, and many more! And did I mention the live music?
For all you VIPs, you’ll get an extra hour of tasting, a private patio under the stars, and will be qualified for hundreds of dollars of free giveaways.
And for those of us have a little too much fun – or just the right amount of fun, depending on how you look at it – there are plenty of safe rides home, including Uber which has partnered to offer discounts to new riders.
As you can see, it’s a great opportunity to try a few local favorites and help support a great cause! Or as I like to think of it, a party with a purpose!
Hope to see you Saturday!
