Memorial Day Recipe: Watermelon & Feta Salad

With Memorial Day just around the corner and the weather heating up fast, people are always looking for a side dish to bring to a BBQ. I have you covered. This summer salad will keep all your guests cool while pleasing the sweet and salty palette. Your guests will definitely be asking you for the recipe.

Watermelon & Feta Salad

  • 1  Seedless Watermelon (cubed)
  • 1 package of plain feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 bag of romaine lettuce
  • ½ of a red onion
  • Olive Oil
  • Black pepper
  • Kalamata Olives
  • Fresh mint

Mix watermelon, red onion and feta together and place on top of a bed or romaine lettuce. Drizzle olive oil over the top and fresh cracked pepper.  Top with some Kalamata olives and some fresh mint.

This recipe can be made in individual servings or in one large serving bowl.

All these yummy fruits and veggies can be bought at your local farmers markets.
