Found: Best of Sacramento Etsy (Part 3)

By Laura Braden

Ever since leaving Sacramento (tear), I’ve been missing Girls on the Grid. Sure, I’ve found a great local blog in Tennessee to write for, but I will always have a special place in my heart for GOTG (and all things Sacramento).

Thus, I’ve decided to start writing again, albeit on topics that don’t require me to physically be in the city.

One article that just seemed to be itching for an update was a round-up on the best local folks on

Editor’s Note: Be sure and check out the Best of Sacramento Etsy Part 1 and Part 2. We’ve also created a handy database on

So check out our updated list – and let us know who your favorite (local) vendor is!

1.  Loulous Vintage is run by Linda Harvey, an Englishwoman now living in NorCal. Her taste is modern/eclectic, and her items tend to be very unique. (1950’s Embroidered Dress, $225)

2.  I’m a sucker for funny onesies. Recent art graduate Ana Apple offers a number of cute options. (Record player onesie, $25)

3.  Love to get your “Ooommmm” on? Check out Shining Light’s jewelry. (Yoga-Inspired, Lotus and Turquoise Necklace, $31)

4.  Gracie Mae Kids is pretty well-known around Sacramento, but I had no idea they were on Etsy. They offer adorable Martha’s-Vineyard-meets-St.-Tropez clothing for kids. Bonus – EVERYTHING is machine-washable. (Tunic Dress, $64)

5.  Monday Pie is run by Tina Jett in Elk Grove. Inspired by her antique-loving father, her store offers whimsical, Anthropologie-like home items. (Mid-century Cheese Plate, $15.00)

6.  Blue Owl Design is run by Liz Zimbelman. They offer really unique and modern invitations and announcement – at super affordable prices. (Firework invitation, $0.20)

7.  Dahlilahfound is still one my all-time faves. She sleuths all over to find funky vintage items to sell her in Etsy store. Her items range from clothing to shoes to accessories. (Vintage Christian Dior Sunglasses, $85)

Happy Shopping!
