Regional Art Offered at Crocker's "Big Names, Small Art"

By the Editors

Have you been craving a new piece of art to shake up your home decor? Have a new office that desperately needs some life on it’s white walls? Love supporting all things local?

If you answered yes (heck, or even maybe) to any of those questions, check out the Crocker’s “Big Names, Small Art” auction next Thursday, May 26 from 6pm-9pm (216 O Street).

The evening will include music, artist demonstrations, and of course – the silent auction. Featuring the work of more than 100 “Big Name” regional artists, each “Small Art” work measures in at 12-by-12 inches or less. Guests will be able to bid on original paintings, drawings, ceramics, and mixed-media works starting at JUST $25.

Who knows…you may just end up winning a priceless piece of art that your grandkids can retire forever in Carmel on… But at the very least, you’ll be supporting great locals at a local art museum gem.

“Big Names, Small Art” is free to Museum members and $15 for nonmembers. Nonmembers can purchase advance tickets at crockerartmuseum.org or the Museum Admission Desk. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

I like to visit your site a couple times a week for new entries. I was wondering if you have any other niches you write about?
