Stitch Swap 4.0 this Saturday

By Laura Braden

This event idea is so fabulous and clever on so many levels. Three local girls on the grid are bringing Sacramento their fourth installment of free shopping, cupcakes and wine…

Have I got your attention yet?

Here’s how it works…Go through your closets and pull out all of the clothes, shoes, jewelry and handbags you no longer need or wear. Come to the Urban Hive this Saturday (see flier below) and your gently loved items will get sorted with everyone else’s. After the sorting, the flood gates open and you get to shop!

You can bring as much as you want, and leave with whatever you find. All leftover clothes will be donated to WEAVE (one of GOTG’s fave local charities), along with your $5 donation at the door.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends, clean out your closets and support a great local cause.

And did I mention there’d be cupcakes and vino?!?!
