Midtown Bazaar – Sacramento’s Newest Shopping Mecca

By the Editors

We can’t WAIT to check this out… This Saturday, a new open-air market is hitting Midtown. The Midtown Bazaar (16th and J) promises to feature local produce, art, gifts, musicians, service providers and eateries.

The Bazaar is the brainchild of local entrepreneur Aaron Zeff and will occur every Saturday from 7am-1pm (rain or shine). One of the best parts? The $1 admission will be donated to one of our favorite charities: Women Escaping A Violent Environment (WEAVE). We partnered with them for our Most Eligible Bachelors Happy Hour, and they are a fabulous non-profit.

We also think it’s great that he’s keeping the vendor space prices pretty low: $15-25 per Saturday. So if you’re a budding artist or small business owner, this could be a great opportunity to increase your public profile.

This is the first week they’ll be open, so please let us know what you think – worth the trip? Issues that need to be fixed? Vendors/merchants not to be missed?
