The weather is finally starting to warm up, summer vacations are being planned, and it seems like there’s a different wedding every weekend. Many of us eat right and exercise all year…but for others, spring is the time to jump back on the wagon to get ready for bikini/shorts/bridesmaid season. So rather than do a simple (and boring) “get ready for bikini season” article, we’ve decided to take it one step further and dedicate the whole month of May to health/fitness/nutrition. Cause let’s face it: what you eat and why you exercise should be focused more on health than appearance. We have a full slate of articles planned, but this blog is meant to be a forum (see here and here) so be sure to weigh in each day with your advice and feedback on our articles.     I would love to see hikes within 1-2 hours of sacramento that are around 6-8 miles long…..a list of sacramento area hikes perhaps?

    I have heard that juicers are the hip new (or not-so new since I am always behind on the cool curve) thing to do for health. Does anyone know of a good one to try? Maybe a review on the juicer blog could be a good topic?
