Wanna run with Girls on the Grid?
By Amy Thoma
I realize you’re all shocked by this, but I have a running-related idea. Last year Christina Vanskike and I went on a night-run through East Sac (M street mostly) to look at Christmas lights. I thought it would be fun to repeat the tradition but organize a larger group and maybe hit up Peets or Big Spoon after.
I just ran CIM so I’m not looking to break any speed or distance records, but there is a nice 4 (or 5 if you get excited or want more Big Spoon) mile loop that includes some of the Fab 40s houses that do amazing things with lights. I know it’s night time, but with a group it’s plenty safe and there are a variety of paces on this email. Trust me on this one. Plus, I need Girls on the Grid fodder and what’s cooler than girls running through the grid?
